A George Jones Victorian Majolica Quatrefoil Strawberry Server Basket Circa 1870.
Consisting of a Mossy textured brown, green and turquoise ground decorated with Strawberry plant leaves and flowers. Naturalistic twig molding around the rim which also forms the handle. Four twig molded feet to the underside - mottled green, brown and ochre glazes to underside with stilt marks and two vent holes. Impressed 'GJ' monogram - 2 bowls for strawberries and the 2 smaller bowls for cream and sugar.
Good. No restoration, no cracks, no hairlines, no chips. Slight faring/glaze marks underside as shown in pictures
