A Pair of Early 19th Century French Empire Candalabras in the style of Pierre-Philippe Thomire. Patinated and Fire Gilt Bronze Winged Victories Holding Torches. Height 43cm
The Candelabra have general age related patination and have been examined with no obvious damages or repairs.
We do not as a rule clean the items we auction and so the candelabra do come with the remains of some green wax candles and a layer of dust in the hard to reach places - all included! The mark or bulging on the arms of one of the candelabra is a wax deposit/drip shown before and after removal in subsequent pictures
