The Late Great George Withers Private Collection - Offered Without Reserve.

Thank you for your enquiry and interest in the Wincanton Auctions section of the George Withers Collection.

All of the lots in this auction are offered without reserve and are unlikely to be in perfect condition. Due to this and other factors including the large number of lots and grouped lots we regret that we do not have the capacity to assist with the anticipated volume of enquiries for condition reports and have advertised the sale as such with two viewing days on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th February from 10am-4pm.

Where possible we may inspect Lots and will act reasonably in taking a general view about them and have added details to the lot description such as ‘No visible, Chips or Cracks’. However we are normally unable to carry out detailed examinations of Lots to check their condition in the way a Buyer would do. Representations or statements by us as to condition involve matters of opinion. We undertake that any such opinion will be honestly and reasonably held and accept liability for opinions given negligently or fraudulently.
