We are delighted to announce that through the kind generosity of our wonderful customers who donated items and the bidders who bought them we have raised £819 so far for the Wincanton Branch of the Royal British Legion. Many thanks to everyone who supported the Poppy Appeal sale.

With your support we would like to help the Royal British Legions Poppy Appeal again this year by holding a charity auction of donated items during our next sale on Friday 28th October in time for Poppy Day.

If you have any pre-loved or unwanted items that you can spare we would be enormously grateful to receive them. As much as gold bars and antiques would be lovely we would be happy to accept items that might not ordinarily be considered as auction lots (but please, the idea isn't to save a run to the tip!) as every £1 raised is worth the effort.

If you have items that you wish to place in the General sale perhaps you might consider donating one or some of the proceeds?

Any items donated will be auctioned without buyers or sellers commission* and we can have some fun raising money for a really excellent cause.

*(online bidders will still have to pay the Easylive Auction's flat fee of £3 or 3%+Vat). Wincanton Auctions will not charge any other fees to buyers or sellers.
