THE ZULU WAR

A talk to explore the events leading up to the Zulu War, the massacre at Isandlwana and the defence of Rorke's Drift the key protagonists and their motivations, the culture of the Zulu, the weapons and tactics of both armies, the events as they unfolded and the consequences and aftermath while along the way correcting some common myths and popular inaccuracies from the much loved film and history.
Doors open 6.30pm with the talk starting at 7pm.
Entry Charges
Members: £2 per talk, which includes a free strip of raffle tickets
Non-members: £10.00
